Accurate ABV Measurement

Steam distillation is a rapid method of measuring alcoholic strength (ABV). Steam expels the alcohol from the sample in a considerably shorter time than the traditional distillation process. The distillate obtained is an ethanol-water mixture that can be measured by a density meter or pycnometer to calculate the ABV (ethanol content).

Easy To Use

The Vapodest is operated with an intuitive, guided navigation touchscreen. Improved efficiency is achieved by programmable functions and a method library. All relevant data is automatically logged in a tamper proof system for ISO 17025 compliant documentation and the Vapodest exceeds international standards such as EN/ISO, AOAC, DIN, EPA, ASTM, GAFTA.
