Accurate ABV Measurement
A highly versatile % ABV analyser for winemakers for maintaining product consistency, the Rudolph Research Analytical AlcoTest supplies an accurate measurement of alcohol in wine in 3 minutes without the need for distillation. It combines a reference density meter and refractometer ensures highly accurate ABV results, long term stability, reliability and low service costs.
Measuire Flavour
The AlcoTest alcohol analyser also allows you to measure key flavour quality indicators such as density, refractive index and Brix. The AlcoTest offers quick and accurate ABV measurements that are easy to perform due to the simple direct syringe injection port. Just degas the sample, inject and press measure. The sample is automatically pumped through the instrument ensuring repeatable results every time with a very low cost of ownership.

“The AlcoTest alcohol analyser is very easy to use and produces accurate results for us. It takes a fraction of the time for a result compared with our previous steam distillation method so we can spend more time on production“
Alice Pearson, Lead NPD Distiller, Cotswolds Distillery
We bought the AlcoTest ABV analyser because we need a reliable and accurate instrument to test our whole range of spirits and liqueurs without time consuming distillations. Since ramping up production we have found the AlcoTest to be very accurate and easy to use and we are very happy with the performance.”

Configuration
AlcoTest with Vertical Load
The simplest option, the Vertical Load, works by the user sucking the sample into a syringe and injecting it into the fitting on top of the instrument. Building on the well proven horizontal load system the vertical load allows injection with either hand. The VL uses the least amount of sample of any option and it is also easily adaptable to creams and gels making it a good choice if the Alcotest is going to be used for hand sanitizer.
AlcoTest with Peri Pump Option
The MM-Peri loads directly from the bottle or cup; no syringe is needed. The system displaces the last sample with the new sample directly eliminating the cleaning step and making the instrument much faster and easier to use. The MM-Peri also adds the ability to measure under pressure and thus can measure samples like white wine that will tend to outgas.
AlcoTest M68
The simplest multi sample option, the M68 allows a user to load up to 24 samples and leave the instrument to do the rest. Like the MM-Peri the M68 displaces the previous sample with the new sample meaning fast cycle times and no cleaning solvents.
AlcoTest with R837 Autoflex
The most versatile option, the R837 uses less sample than the M68. The R837 cleans and dries between samples allowing it to measure when samples are not necessarily miscible such as a flavor company measuring both raw flavor materials and test beverages.
