Insertable Oxygen Mini Probes
The insertable miniprobe is intended for measurements of integrated and smoothed oxygen levels in samples with oxygen micro-heterogeneity. It comes as bare-fibre sensor without sensor housing and is available with a diameter of 250 µm, 500 µm and 1000 µm. The packaging unit includes 2 sensors (intended as single-use sensors) and 2 intravenous cannula for insertion into semi-solid samples like animal tissue, organs or soils. The sensing area covers a length of 3-5 mm at the sensor tip and measures smoothed oxygen levels over the entire sensor area. The new OXIMP probe is compatible with all current FireSting meters including the FireSting-GO2.
