Real time measurements for increased efficieny

Reduce out-of-spec product and re-work

Continuous real-time in-process measurements

Simultaneous measurement of multiple parameters

In-Line Dairy Process Analyser

The DA 7350 is an advanced, modern and versatile in-line NIR instrument for measurement of dairy powders, liquids and pastes in pipes, chutes and similar locations. Based on the technology present in the DA 7250 NIR benchtop analyser, it performs real-time multi-constituent measurements of a product in critical locations in the process line, providing information for process control and quality monitoring.

Continuous Measurement

Continuous real-time in-process measurements help users increase efficiency and reduce out-of-spec product and re-work, whilst ensuring process optimisation, legal compliance and manufacturing efficiencies. The instrument performs simultaneous measurement of parameters such as moisture, protein, fat and many others. The core diode array technology provides many benefits including durability, stability, accurate measurement of moving products and the ability to track process changes.

Flexibility

Many mounting options are available, all designed for specific uses and products. The DA 7350 can be mounted on pipes, hoppers, conveyors, mixers, before or after dryers, after blending points, before packaging or at other critical points in the process.

Features and Benefits

  • Real-Time Measurements – Monitor, adjust, and optimize your production processes in real-time to save costs, increase yield and improve product consistency
  • Industry 4.0 Ready – Web based software for easy operation and maintenance
  • Integrated Camera – For colour measurements, display snap-shots of the production at your operator station
  • Rugged Design – Engineered to suit production facilities, the instrument is designed for harsh environments. It features IP67 and IP69k ingress protection as well as ATEX and IECEx classifications for installations in potentially dust explosive environments
  • IoT Compatible Communication Interfaces – Industry standard, open communications protocols for easy integration including OPC UA, PROFINET and ModBus TCP as well as a range of Fieldbuses to enable fast and simple information integration with existing plant systems

Systems Integration

Great importance is placed on connectivity capabilities to existing plant control systems. We support many interfaces including: OPC UA, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, various Fieldbus and more.

Applications

The DA 7350 builds upon the extensive experience of its predecessor, the DA 7300 which is installed and used at many production sites worldwide. These are a few examples of its uses.

  • Optimising moisture inclusion and reducing energy costs when spray drying milk powder by monitoring product moisture in real-time
  • Minimising grade change-over time and reducing waste
  • Optimising the fat and moisture content of butter
