Underwater Oxygen and pH Meters
PyroScience the new, compact and easy-to-operate AquapHOx platform is a flexible solution for many applications. Besides stand-alone loggers with internal data storage for long term deployment, there are also transmitters for fast sampling and easy integration into existing set-ups utilizing the integrated analogue outputs.
The logger and transmitter are available with a titanium housing for deep-sea applications up to 4000m. These devices are highly flexible concerning choice of analyte and sensor format as O2, pH and optical temperature sensors can be connected.
For applications in shallow water, loggers and transmitters with a POM housing are available which can be deployed up to 100m. These devices are dedicated to one analyte but with the same flexibility concerning sensor format (e.g. caps or fibre based sensor).

Deep Sea Long-Time Logger for Oxygen, pH or Temperature Sensors
The AquapHOx-LX is a flexible multi-analyte long-term logger for stand-alone underwater operation down to 4000m water depth. It can be combined with a broad range of optical O2-, pH- or temperature sensors, offering unmatched flexibility for multiple applications with the same APHOX-LX device. These include:
- Long-time O2 monitoring in ocean habitats
- Most sensitive trace O2 measurements in oxygen minimum zones or de-oxygenation events
- Measurements of ocean pH on the total scale with neglectable impact of salinity
- Contactless read-out of incubations chambers with integrated sensors and profiling over surface structures, in sediments and along gradients at high spatial resolution

Oxygen Logger for Shallow Water
The AquapHOx-L-O2 is an oxygen long-term logger for stand-alone shallow-water operation down to 100m water depth. It offers a great flexibility regarding application, as it can be used with the entire underwater oxygen & temperature sensor portfolio with SUB-connector. Simply exchange the sensor head, choose between different O2 & T sensor formats. These include oxygen sensor caps for long-time monitoring, fiber-optic micro- & minisensors for O2 profiling in sediments & over surface structures (corals, coralline algae, seagrass, kelp, etc.) at high spatial resolution, and ultra-trace oxygen sensor caps for measurements in oxygen minimum zones or de-oxygenation events.

pH Logger for Shallow Water
The AquapHOx-L-pH is a pH long-term logger for standalone underwater operation. The POM housing enables measurements down to 100m depth. The logger was designed as platform to be combined with a wide range of different optical pH or temperature sensor formats, offering maximum flexibility regarding application.
Our entire pH sensor portfolio utilizing the SUB-connector can be used with the AquapHOx-L-pH. Maintenance time is minimized by simply exchanging these disposable sensor heads. Choose between a pH sensor cap (PHCAP-PKx-SUB) for long time monitoring or fiber-optic sensors (PHROBSC-PKX-SUB) for pH sensing with spatial resolution in e.g. coral reefs. The pH sensors are available with different pH ranges suitable for your application.

The PyroScience AquapHOx-T-pH is a real-time transmitter for underwater operation down to 100m depth. The transmitter was designed as platform to be combined with a wide range of different optical pH or temperature sensor formats, offering maximum flexibility regarding application.
The entire pH sensor portfolio with -SUB connector can be used with the AquapHOx-T-pH. Maintenance time is minimized by simply exchanging these disposable sensor heads. Shallow Water Oxygen OEM Meter
The APHOx-S-O2 is a compact underwater sensor for dissolved oxygen. The device uses a robust optical principle based on an oxygen sensitive luminescent dye. A factory calibration of the oxygen sensor allows for convenient and fast deployment. The APHOx-S-O2 provides a RS485 interface and 4 analog outputs for an easy integration into various control systems.
With the corrosion and biofouling resistant copper alloy housing and an operational depth down to 50 m, the APHOX-S-O2 is specifically designed for measurements in aquacultures and surface waters.
