Paris Olympics Water Quality
ColiMinder was a vital part of the water quality monitoring system designed to protect athletes at the Paris Olympics.
ColiMinder analysers were installed in the Seine upstream of the site where the Triathlon events were held. They provided an early warning that fecal contamination may be reaching the competition site by detecting E. coli, enterococci and total activity.
The analytical data provided contributed to the decision to postpone the men’s individual triathlon due to the presence of E coli bacteria.
