Configurations and Applications
The AgriQuant is provided with a range of rapidly interchangeable modular accessories allowing seamless transfer between sample types and ensuring excellent spectroscopic quality. Temperature stabilisation is crucial for accurate analysis. Coarse solids, grains and forage are measured in a generic glass bottle. The bottle is rotated at an angle so that the sample is mixed during operation, improving the analysis. Samples are individually sealed preventing cross contamination or air interaction.

  • Excellent sampling solutions
  • One system can analyze multiple sample types
  • Unrivalled spectroscopic specifications
  • Cutting edge interferometer technology based on ABB Bomem platform
  • Solid state laser, maintenance free
  • Quartz Halogen electronically stabilised source, average lifetime of 10 years
  • ZnSe beamsplitter, lifetime optics warranty against degradation due to moisture
  • Rugged and robust design

Spiral Sampler
The patented spiral sampler offers truly representative scanning and is ideal for analysis of heterogeneous products. The sample is analysed on the Spiral Sampler in reflection mode in AgriTubes. The AgriTubes are easily filled and many AgriTubes can be prepared for later analysis. After analysis the AgriTubes are easily cleaned and re-used. A barcode reader can be attached for easy sample handling and identification.

The spiral sampler also offers tumbling mode for which the AgriTube is only half filled, allowing the sample to move so that all parts of the sample become part of the spectrum. This constant mixed during analysis reduces effects from sample heterogeneity.
