The redesigned FTIR spectrometer is based on the patented Wish Bone interferometer. The pre-aligned Wish Bone is the heart of the spectrometer and this brings several advantages including a robust and stable construction and easy calibration transfer- ability, which is supported by absolute wavelength reproducibility.

With the Cheese option the Delta LactoScope FTIR Advanced can be used to analyse cheese to optimise the production process. The cheese is liquefied with a patented solvent and a specially designed mixer obtains homogenous, stable milk like suspension that is ready for analysis in just 60 seconds. Fat, protein, salt, moisture, and pH can be measured in a wide range of cheeses.
