Orion Calcium Hardness Monitor
The Orion 1820 Calcium Hardness monitor is one of a series of
microprocessor-based analyzers designed to measure trace ion levels in
relatively pure water continously.
The Orion 1820 has been specifically designed to operate in the effluent
of a zeolite exchanger in a water softening system.
A unique system for pH adjustment eliminates the need for expensive
reagents and frequent maintenance. Instrument calibration is quick,
simple, highly reliable and accurate using a simple pipet. A temperature
sensor, immersed in the sample, monitors sample temperature and is
used for automatic temperature compensation.
A signal conditioner offers the choice between linear and logarithmic
concentration output. Since the Orion 1820 has been designed with few
moving parts, it requires little maintenance and is extremely reliable.
